Founded by Mr. K. Mahardi Paramita in 1989, IGP was known as the first Gemological institution in Indonesia. Located in Central Jakarta, Institute Gemology Paramita (IGP) is an ideal place to learn about Diamond and Gemstones (such as Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald), and Jewelry Design. IGP also offers Jewelry Making course. IGP is supported by well-experienced and professional teachers, graduated from Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Asian Institute of Gemological Science (AIGS), and Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A). IGP also conducts various training and gemstones seminars, such as “Synthetic Diamond”, “Identifying Synthetic Gemstones”, and other related topics regularly with flexible times, in order to fulfill the needs of diamond/gemstones/jewelry lovers all across country.
